Louise taught a ShimSham at our Virtual Festival last year, which went very well, so we are pleased she has agreed to lead an online Tap Hour for us. She says: "I have been teaching adult dance for 15 years and was delighted when asked to teach a ready-made adult tap group 6 years ago. Since than the tap group has tripled in size and even performed at a local gala event. We love the joy that tap brings and now can't imagine life without it."

GENERAL LEVEL, OPEN TO ALL.  PRICE: £5 MEMBERS,  £6 NON-MEMBERS. Payment via BACS - contact if you don't have ATD bank details; or PayPal link below (using your name as a reference); or cheque.

Not so much a DDO as a DHI (Dancers' Hour In)!  More instructors and sessions to follow.--> ONLINE TAP SESSION - Online Payment

Dancers Days Out  - CANCELLED  until further notice.

The Dancers Days Out are fun events organised all over the UK for adult tap dancers. They consist of two tap workshops, each lasting approximately 1½ hours, and we invite well known instructors and performers to teach the sessions. Sometimes they will include other forms of dance.  We generally suggest that you need to have been tapping a couple of years or at least have a grasp of the ‘basics’ for these workshops. The instructors are told to assume that attendees will be at this level but will often modify their routines according to suit the level of the group once they get there. The a day begins around 10.30am. Tea and coffee are provided prior to the commencement of the first Workshop, after which we take a lunch break (bring your own) and then the second Workshop takes place. We keep timings flexible to allow instructors to tailor sessions as they wish - to finish a routine, for example - but usually finish at about 3pm. People quite often stay and chat afterwards, though!

If you would like a DDO in your area, contact us.
